Aurora is designed to work independently—simply power on to operate—with no external dependencies required.

Key Features

  • Integrated sensing and compute: 2D LiDAR, binocular vision, 6DOF IMU, and an AI processor in one compact module
  • 3D 6DOF omnidirectional localization capability
  • Millimeter-level resolution accuracy, centimeter-level localization accuracy
  • Large mapping area: >1,000,000 m^2
  • Compact size: palm-sized, 500g weight class (listed weight: 505g)
  • External interfaces shown: 1000M Ethernet, WiFi, USB Type C
  • External expansion shown: BeiDou/GPS/RTK; supports external expansion (GPS/RTK, odometry, etc.)
  • Map output shown: synchronized 2D laser grid maps and 3D point cloud output

Details

Aurora combines LiDAR, binocular vision, IMU, and onboard compute to deliver 6DOF mapping and localization in one compact module.

Power on and start mapping without relying on an external computer, then connect over USB‑C, Ethernet, or WiFi for data and control.

Multi-sensor fusion enables millimeter-level map resolution and centimeter-level localization accuracy for large-scale mapping.

Integrated sensing and computing reduces integration effort while still supporting expansion inputs such as GPS/RTK and odometry.

For long runs and large sites, Aurora supports mapping areas over 1,000,000 m² with map saving and continuation.

Aurora can output synchronized 2D laser grid maps and 3D point clouds to support both classic navigation and 3D perception.

Setup follows a simple flow—mount the sensor, supply DC power, and collect data for mapping or localization mode.

Hardware time synchronization and map management tools help keep data aligned across sensors and sessions.

Designed for robotics and autonomy projects including AGVs, quadrupeds, humanoids, and GPS-free indoor/outdoor localization.
